Flickr

One of my favourite websites - Flickr.  Today the first new media website we learnt about was Flickr.  I love Flickr but I've never had an account because I don't want to cloud up the site with really amature pictures instead of beautiful profesional ones.  It's an easy website to you once you figure out all the drop down menus and grammatics of people's user names.  I like it a lot better than google images because the images uploaded onto Flickr have life about them and aren't just a simple shot accompanying a simple fact or something.  The pictures take a while to upload, but that might just be due internet speed. I'm pretty excited to take more photos and learn more about photography so I can fully use all the features available on Flickr.

So this is Blogger...

I'm not all new to this blogging thing, I have my own Tumblr but I feel Blogger is a bit different.  While not everyone on Tumblr just reposts picture after picture of cats or aurora borealis, somedays it definitely feels that way.  Hopefully Blogger has escaped the pointless mundane reblogging of Tumblr.
